Well. It's winter time and after two big earthquakes in Christchurch, therefore not so cheery athmosphere... Actually this place could be Norway's southern cousin?

It's official now, the round trip is done. Fertig. Valmis. Returned the faithful DR back to Bikescape today, after 27,000kms together. It didn't leave me on the road, saved me few times on gravel and just kept on going until tank ran dry. I can only ask for a better saddle...

Next stop: New Zealand!

I just happened to stumble upon this show along the road - a local hotel owner is an avid fan of bikes, and these are his toys! A nice selection of restored Ducatis, Laverdas, old Brits and an interestingly modified HD.

It may be my last camping tonight here, and the location is truly unexpected one!
